[Also in Divisions E1 and E2] A preformed tiled panel comprises a sheet 10 having ribs or projections 12 on one face and tiles 11 secured to the other face with or without the interposition of an intermediate layer or layers. Specified sheet materials are paper, rubber and polyvinyl chloride. The tiles are secured by adhesive and may be set between spacer ribs which are integral with the sheet, the spacers preferably being initially higher than the thickness of the tiles and being turned over the edges of the tiles. The panel may contain holes for attachment means. The specified intermediate layer is a wood or asbestos board.
