1,110,839. Etching. DOW CHEMICAL CO. 31 March, 1966 [2 April, 1965], No. 14230/66. Heading B6J. Etching liquid in a chamber 12 is thrown upwardly by rotating paddles 14, 16 against a curved plate 62 to be etched, carried on a rotatable mandrel 42, mounted in a frame 34, oscillated by a hollow drive shaft 66 driven by an electric motor 73 through linkage 72, 70, 68. The mandrel is reversibly rotated by a motor 80 through a shaft 60 within the shaft 60.
