111,077. Depollier, C. L. Oct. 26, 1917. Finger rings.-In rings of the type comprising two outer rings secured to a signet or bond and an inner ring adapted to fit frictionally between the outer two, the inner ring comprises an incomplete annulus d, between the ends of which is pivoted at d<1> a receiver e adapted to fit within the bond c, stops e<1> on the receiver engaging shoulders c' on the bond. In the arrangement shown, the receiver e is solid and has inscriptions engraved on both faces, the bond c being in the form of a frame to enable either inscription to be exposed. In a modification, the receiver e is formed as a container for a lock of hair or other memento, in which case a solid signet or bond is used so that the ring d must be withdrawn to expose the contents of the receiver.
