Abstract

122,765. Grossman, H. R. May 17, 1918. Lockets and the like.-A finger ring is formed with a closed receptacle to contain an identification disk, miniature photograph, medicine, &c. The ring 1 resembles a signet ring in form, the receptacle being closed by a screw cap 6 suitab'y engraved or ornamented. An identification disk may be attached to the inside of the cap 6 by a spring stud or a screw. As shown in Fig. 8, a disk 11 may be hinged at 10 to the inside of the cap 6, and additional disks 12, 13 may be hinged together in succession; portraits may appear on one face of each disk and indicia on the other face. In a modification, the cap G is attached by a bayonet joint instead of a screw.
