Abstract

1,109,558. Bearings. DœRKOPPWERKE G.m.b.H. 19 Jan., 1967 [7 Oct., 1966], No. 2872/67. Heading F2A. A one-part sheet metal cage for axial cylindrical roller bearings comprises a ring 12, Fig. 2, which peripherally embraces the rollers and radially-inwardly directed tongues 14 which are arranged obliquely relative to the ring 12 and separate the rollers. In an embodiment, an axial cylindrical roller bearing has two rows of rollers 1, 1<SP>1</SP> positioned between races 2, 3. The race 2 has an extension 2<SP>1</SP> which is abutted by the rollers 1<SP>1</SP>, the latter being provided with a cage 10<SP>1</SP>, the ring portion of which serves as an abutment for the rollers 1. A cage 10 is provided for the rollers 1.
