1,108,933. Traversing yarns. LEESONA HOLT Ltd. 25 June, 1965 [29 May, 1964], No. 22232/64. Heading D1J. A yarn traverse mechanism comprises at least two spindle units, each unit having at least two concentric spindles 12, 14 adapted for rotation in opposite directions, each spindle carrying for rotation therewith at least one finger or disc 15, the arrangement being such that upon rotation of the spindles, the fingers or discs moving anti-clockwise traverse the yarn in one direction, and then the fingers or discs moving clockwise traverse the yarn in the other direction. A stripper mechanism removes the yarn from the last finger or disc at each traverse end and locates the yarn for engagement by a finger or disc at said ends that will traverse the yarn back again.
