Abstract
1,108,189. Transistor oscillator circuits. DAINI SEIKOSHA KABUSHIKI KAISHA. 21 Sept., 1966 [28 Sept., 1965], No. 42206/66. Heading H3T. [Also in Divisions G3 and H2] A vibrator device used as a frequency standard comprises two adjustable magnetic members 9, 10 mounted adjacent the vibratory member 3 with their magnetic axes in the direction of vibration of member 3. The magnetic members form the cores of coils 5, 6 respectively which are connected in a transistor oscillator circuit. Core 9 is a permanent magnet and its position relative to member 3 is adjusted until the temperature coefficient of the vibrator device is negligibly small. The normal running frequency is then determined by the shape of member 3 and this frequency can be altered within small limits by adjusting the position of soft-iron core 10 relative to member 3 or by altering the oscillator frequency by means of variable resistor VR. The fixed parts of the device may be mounted on a printed circuit board 4.
