Abstract

110,722. Gilligan, J. June 22, 1917. Letter-sheets. - A combined envelope and writing form is made in the form shown in Fig. 1 with side borders 2 and a top border 6 perforated at 4 and 5, and with a narrow gummed border 8 terminating at 7. The sheet is folded backwards on the line 1<1>, then forwards on the line 2<1>, and the top part is turned down on the line 3<1> after the gummed edges have b e e n moistened. Finally, the top border 6 is turned over, as shown in Fig. 2, and stuck down. In opening, the side borders are torn off, and the top is ripped on the line 5. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 5395/95.
