Abstract
1,106,418. High vacuum pumps. S.A.E.S. GETTERS S.p.A. Sept.27, 1966 [Sept. 29, 1965], No.43023/66. Heading F1N. The cooled surfaces of cryopumps are composed, at least in part, of one or more of the metals of the fifth group i.e. tantalum, vanadium or niobium. The surfaces may be in the form of panels formed of one or more of the metals, or alternatively, they may be in the form of films deposited on other materials.
