Scarifier equipment 17 is secured on a dozer blade 11 by releasable fastening means comprising a strut 24 that is drawn by transversely extending screw means positioned between the strut and the equipment to cause the strut to force apart mutually inclined abutments 27, 35 on the blade and the equipment to ensure of the looking together of the blade and the equipment by the drawing together of engaging parts thereof.
