A tractor-mountable unit, which, when mounted on a tractor 14, is vertically adjustable with respect to the tractor, has a drivable screw 21, which when the unit is mounted on the tractor, extends across the full width of the tractor to beyond one side thereof for, when driven from power means on the tractor, digging into and conveying material from ahead of the tractor to one side thereof.
