Abstract

898,452. Earth-working equipment. WHITTINGTON ENGINEERING CO. Ltd. Aug. 18, 1959 [May 19, 1958], No. 16058/58. Class 68(1). Supported on a common shaft 15 to extend in planes at right angles thereto are a bladed cutter disc 20 and a rotary thrower 22, the disc being mounted so as to be ahead of the thrower in the proposed direction of movement of the shaft 15. The shaft 15 is supported in a frame 2 that can be adjusted relative to a tractor-mounted boom 9 at the end of which the frame 2 is clamped. The drive from the tractor P.T.O. to the shaft 15 forms the subject matter of Specification 898,451, which is referred to.
