Abstract

1,104,012. Conveyer frameworks. GEBR. EICKHOFF MASCHINENFABRIK U. EISENGIESSEREI m.b.H. 9 Aug., 1965 [9 Sept., 1964], No. 33956/65. Heading B8A. A mine face conveyer 1 includes a sloping ramp 2 detachably attached to brackets 3 bolted to the side wall of the conveyer. The ramp extends under the brackets which have projections 5 engaging the ramp and the two are secured together by spring pins 12. The ramp 2 includes an upper part b formed of plate metal and a lower part a formed by a casting, the two parts having abutting flanges 6, 7 bolted together. The flanges 6, 7 are omitted in the region of the projections 5 of the brackets 3 so that the projections 5 can pass into recesses in the lower part a of the ramp and abut the sloping face thereof whereby the pins 12 can be passed through the part a and the projection 5. The leading lower edge of the ramp may be provided with teeth (see Fig. 4 (not shown).
