1,102,728. Stirrers for mixers; pulverizing. GEORGE TWEEDY & CO. Ltd. 31 Aug., 1966 [29 June, 1965; 19 Nov., 1965], Nos. 27424/65 and 49183/65. Headings BIC and B2A. A rotor for a dough mixer or pulverizing machine comprises a plate 14 having at least two radial blades 30 normal to its under surface and at least one other member in plate form fixed to the first plate and spaced above it in a generally parallel plane. As shown there are two such members 34, 36 with upswept curved leading edges 50, and they span the gaps between two platforms 18 formed by extensions of the plate 14. The edge of each member 34, 36 and of each platform 18 forms two and a half sides of a notional octagon.
