Abstract

1,102,689. Hand rakes. "SISIS" EQUIPMENT (MACCLESFIELD) Ltd. 18 Oct., 1966 [25 Oct., 1965], No. 45021/65. Heading A1B. A rake or scarifier of the kind in which spring tines are attached to a body part fitted with a pair of skids which act as ground supports in advance of the tines, is characterized in that the body part comprises a plate 11 adapted at its ends to be secured to the skids 10 and having flanges 11a, 13 at both edges for location and attachment of the tines 14. The tines are formed in pairs from a length of spring wire. The flange 11a has a notched upwardly bent lower edge 11b forming a channel 11c which receives the connecting loop of the tines.
