[Also in Division F4] A transportable electric heater for heating plastics tiles preparatory to laying comprises a box structure 10 having a detachable top plate, an internal electric heater tube or tubes 13 spaced from the walls, freely turnable antifriction supporting means secured to the underside of the box, an electric switch 15, and a plug 16. As shown, the heater tubes 13 are mounted in transverse supports 12, the plug 16 has a hinged cover 161, and the supporting means (not shown) are ball castors. The top plate is secured by screws which engage tapped holes in distance blocks 101. Handles 103 are provided for carrying purposes, for moving the heater when loaded with tiles.
