881,149. Plant propagators. POTTER Ltd., PETER, and HUNTING MHOGLAS Ltd. Oct. 30, 1959 [Oct. 30. 1958], No. 34860/58. Class 6(2). A box 1 of wood, metal or synthetic resin for propagating plants is heated by means of at least one laminal heating element 3 comprising an electric resistance element embedded in a slab of insulating material. The heating element may be slidably accommodated beneath the base of the box in grooves or on runners provided on downward extensions of the side walls of the box. Alternatively, the heating element may be slidably accommodated in a frame structure upon which the box 1 is removably placed. Where necessary, supplementary heating elements may be fixed to or removably associated with the side and/or end walls of the box, and in the case where the elements are fixed to the box, the walls of the box may themselves form the insulating supports of the heating elements.
