[Also in Division H5] Injection moulding material admitted at 41 into a space 20 is forced by an annular plunger 14 through bores 19 and through thin heating tubes 17 into a pipe 18 whence it is injected by a plunger 13 into a mould (not shown). The tubes 17 may be of stainless steel and are heated by passing an electric current through them. Additional heaters 60 may be provided.
