Abstract

109,890. James, H. V. Nov. 27, 1916. Controllers, actuating-mechanism for. - The controller of the main working motor of a system is operated by a pilot motor with two oppositely wound armature windings. Switches 5, 6 are included in the two armature circuits, so that, if a switch 5 is closed, the controller will be moved in one direction, and if a switch 6 be closed, the controller will be moved in the opposite direction. The armatures of two separate motors may be coupled together electrically and mechanically to work in a similar fashion.
