Abstract

1,098,313. Mirrors. STANBURY ENGINEERING CO. Ltd. Dec. 11, 1964 [Sept. 12, 1963], No. 35947/63. Heading A4V. A mirror assembly, enabling a rear view of the viewer to be obtained, comprises a tubular post having telescoping sections 10a, 10b, a clamp 11 secured to the section 10a, and a mirror M1 and a lazy tongs 13, which carries a second mirror M2, secured to the section 10b. The mirror M1 may be secured to the section 10b by a swivel clamp 12, and the mirror M2 coupled to the lazy tongs by a universal or swivel joint 14. In a modification the section 10b has two telescopic parts, suitable friction brushes being provided, and the clamp 11 is replaced by a wall &c. bracket.
