Abstract
Polyurethane foams are decribed formed from polyethers, e.g. a polymer of sorbitol or pentaerythritol with propylene oxide or polyesters, e.g. a copolymer of phthalic anhydride and adipic acid with trimethylolpropane. Activator mixtures used include N,N,N1,N1-tetrakis-(2-hydroxy-propyl) ethylene diamine with a glycol mixture and, if desired, triethylene diamine, or for the polyester-methane N,N-dimethylethanolamine with higher glycols in ethylene glycol.
