1,095,514. Burners; radiants. CHIYODA KAKO KENSETSU KABUSHIKI KAISHA, and KUREHA KAGAKU KOGYO KABUSHIKI KAISHA. May 21, 1965 [May 21, 1964], No. 21739/65. Headings F4T and F4W. A radiation burner comprises a plurality of burner heads E projecting above the surface of a tile H and each directing flames radially, the flames from adjacent heads intersecting. The tile is formed with ribs or grooves P, P<SP>1</SP>. Each burner head is on the end of a conduit extending from a header G supplied with a gas air mixture by an injector (B). The angle # between the gas outlets N and the plane normal to the axis of each head E lies between +30 and -30 degrees.
