Abstract

1,095,332. Vehicle rear view mirrors. DESMO Ltd. Feb. 24, 1965 [April 25, 1964], No. 17240/64. Heading B7J. A vehicle rear view swivelmounted mirror 21 is held in a groove 25 in a flexible plastic ring 22 provided with a lip 26 engaging behind a shoulder 28 of a casing having a flange 23. Projections (27) are provided, Figs. 3 and 6 (not shown), which at circumferential points fill the gap between 22 and 26 to prevent lateral movement of the mirror and ring relative to the casing. Figs. 1 and 2 (not shown), illustrate a modified but similar form of ring.
