Abstract
1,095,298. Cleaning buildings; combination brushes. A. THOMAS. Feb. 16, 1966 [Feb. 8, 1966], No. 5442/66. Headings A4F and A4K. [Also in Divisions B2, B3, B4, B5 and E1] A device for cleaning, sanding, scraping, painting, plastering, sawing, or otherwise treating ceilings, walls &c., comprises a rod E having at one end a socket J1 providing a fulcrum support for a rod I during use of the apparatus. The support J rod E having at its other end a plug M to be rested on a scaffold, plank, or floor &c., carrying a tool support J at one end, the may carry a scraper blade K and a brush M2 as shown, or a block Q (Fig. 6, not shown) covered with sandpaper, or an abrasive block, or a paint roller Q.3 (Fig. 7, not shown) and a sponge cleaning pad, or a plasterer's float S (Fig. 8, not shown), or a roller brush U (Fig. 9, not shown) in combination with a concave brush for cleaning corrugated ceilings.
