Abstract

In its basic concept the invention specifically resides in a range of floor buffer and scrubber machine, trowel plate designs, and a modified flat box plastering tool design, for the purpose of patching, repairing and levelling concrete floors more safely and efficiently, the plates are designed for attachment to Polivac, Canterbury, Hako and all other brands of Australian and Foreign manufactured, floor buffer and scrubber machines, the specific plate designs claimed by this patent include, include a floor buffer, plate with a grate pattern design, similar or identical to the hand plastic grate trowel designs, as used in the wall render plastering industry, and a metal blade design, as similar or identical to those used on concrete helicopter trowel machines in the concrete finishing industry, for the purpose of smoothing render beds, level self-level compounds and epoxy cement mortars, the Innovation patent also claims a New Flat box Plastering Head tool design as identical to a Drywall plastering flat box head tool design - that includes a new hopper roller applicator mail box design, or other applicator head design, that attaches to flat box handles, for the purpose of applying epoxy cements and render compounds onto a floor, in more efficient, ergonomically comfortable standing up position, the invention, may also reside is a Plastering tool design with handle, that shares similar design features to a glue spreader hopper and roller tool. Floor Buffer Plate and Accessory Invention
Specification
Tilers, Flooring installers and home renovators commonly preform work tasks that involve levelling and repairing floors to lay floor coverings, whereby a high standard of finish must be achieved before many popular floor coverings, can be installed, such as laminate and vinyl timber flooring, repairs are commonly done with sand and cement bedding and self-level compounds. The use of the term self-levelling however is deceptive as generally, a perfectly flat finish cannot be achieved by just poring a wet coating onto a floor, it usually requires a skilled
tradesman with long straight edge screed, being later rolled with a spiked roller, and sanded with a floor buffer and sand paper disc, to achieve the finish required for many cheap, thin, flexible, cheap flooring covers, good preparation is vital, however the floor buffers and small vacuums used to sand these floors once the renders are dry, create a lot of dust which in today's strict anti-silicosis environment, are no longer deemed safe, or legally compliant with new strict
WHS legislation, hence this new plates and accessories invention, is designed to improve work safety, speed, and efficiency when repairing or providing perfectly flat floors, As most flooring contractors already own a floor
and efficiencies exist for this sander/buffer, significant new work applications invention being used commonly in the flooring industry,
In the first embodiment of the invention resides in a floor buffer, grate pattern plate design, similar or identical to hand plastic grate trowel designs, used in the wall render plastering industry, for the purpose of smoothing and levelling sand and cement floor renders and self-level compounds,
In the second embodiment of the invention resides in a range of floor buffer discs, with a metal blade design, as similar or identical to those used on concrete helicopter trowel machines in the concrete finishing industry, for the purpose of smoothing self-level compounds and wet epoxy cement {sand and epoxy mixtures}
The third embodiment of the invention resides is a New Flat box Plastering Head tool design as identical to a Drywall plastering flat box head tool design that includes a hopper roller applicator mail box design, or other applicator head design, that attaches to flat box handles, for the purpose of applying epoxy cements and render compounds onto a floor, in a standing up position
Plastering tool In the fourth embodiment of the invention resides is a small design, no greater than 2 to 3 litre in capacity, as similar to a Drywall plastering flat box tool, with handle attachment - that includes an applicator head design for the purpose of controlling spillage and uncontrollable seepage of epoxy cements and render compounds when patching floors in a low gravitation orientation
In the fourth embodiment of the invention may reside is a New Flat box Plastering Head tool design as similar to a glue spreader hopper and roller tool design, that includes attachment to a Drywall plastering flat box tool
While this invention will be described in connection with one or more preferred embodiments, it will be understood that the description is not intended to limit the invention to the described embodiments. On the contrary, the description is intended to cover all alternatives, modifications and equivalents as may be
included within the spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the attached claims.
