1,095,057. Articulated vehicles. EISENWERK GEBRUEDER FRISCH KOMM. GES. Sept. 8, 1966 [Sept. 29, 1965], No. 40171/66. Heading B7H. An articulated vehicle comprises a chassis portion 1, capable of supporting a working implement 14, pivoted to a chassis portion 3, which supports a power unit, about an axis 5 in the central longitudinal vertical plane of the vehicle which is inclined to the vertical. The rear axle is pivoted to the chassis portion 3 about a longitudinal vehicle axis 15. On relative pivoting of the chassis portions by steering rams (16), (17) (Figs. 3, 4, not shown), the rear portion is tilted towards the centre of turning of the vehicle hence moving the centre of mass of the rear chassis portion and consequently of the whole vehicle towards this centre to increase the stability of the vehicle at speed.
