Abstract

A composition for supplying iron, manganese or zinc to plants comprises 1 part of metal aminoacetate and 1-11 parts of metal salt. The aminoacetate may be the nitrilotriacetate, ethynol nitrilodiacetate or diethynol nitriloacetate. The salt may be the sulphate, phosphate, borate, carbonate, cyanamide, nitrate or nitrate-urea. The aminoacetate may be formed in situ. The composition may also contain NPK fertilizer constituents. The composition may be in the form of a liquid, powder or pellets. Pelleting may be effected in the presence of clay binder and water.
