Abstract

A flame-retardant dyeable interpolymer comprises at least 84% by weight of acrylonitrile, 7 to 12% by weight of vinylidene chloride, 0.25 to 1.0% by weight of sodium p-methallyl-oxybenzene sulphonate, and 3 to 7% of styrene or methyl acrylate. The polymers are preferably made by redox catalyst systems in aqueous dispersion.
