Abstract
In a combine-harvester, having a threshing chamber defined laterally by side-plates and containing a threshing drum and a concave which is relatively adjustable thereto, the concave is supported on each side of the chamber by arms which are located outside the side-plates and are attached to the concave at two points, each arm being upwardly extended above the concave and being pivoted to the respective side-plate at its upper end. The attachment points to the concave comprise bolts which extend through slots in the side-plates and may be unscrewed to release the concave for withdrawal, inside the harvester-body, in the direction of crop-feed. The lower bolt on each arm is also connected to an adjustable link operable by a lever pivoted at a fixed point on the body. The link, which may be resiliently telescopic, causes the inlet end of the concave to be adjusted twice as far as its outlet end.
