1,090,307. Crash barriers. VEREINIGTE OSTERREICHISCHE EISENUND STAHLWERKE A.G. Oct. 5, 1966 [Dec. 2, 1965], No. 44494/66. Heading E1G. The corrugated guide rails 5 of a crash barrier are connected to the supporting posts 1 through tubular sheet metal parallelograme members 2. having their top and bottom sides inclined upwards towards the rails. The top and bottoms are extended into the corrugations of the rails and the section is weld fabricated from channel with an additional web 7. The members may be employed on both sides of Z-section posts 1 and intermediate rigid members be provided between the posts to provide greater longitudinal rigidity.
