Abstract

1,090,038. Agricultural pick-up trailers. JOSEF DECHENTREITER MASCHINENFABRIK G.m.b.H. March 11, 1965 [March 16, 1964], No. 10457/65. Heading B8E. An agricultural trailer has a tined pick-up mechanism 5 feeding material to a feed device, comprising fingers 17 rotated about a shaft 16 in a path R, and thence to a loading space on the floor of which is an endless conveyer having slats 78 and drivable in either direction. A conveyer comprising slats 57 on chains 56 loosens the material for unloading and feeds it via the fingers 17 rotated in a discharging direction to a discharge belt conveyer 39 extending transversely of the trailer. The pick-up mechanism 5 and conveyer 39 are mounted on pivoted arms 23, 25 fixable by an arm 33 in the position shown in which material is picked-up, fed to the loading space and compacted therein by the floor conveyer moving towards the rear of the trailer. The pick-up mechanism can be pivoted forwards on its arms 23, 25 and fixed in an inoperative position by-the pin 35 of the arm 33 entering a hole 90 in the arm 25. In this inoperative position the loaded material can be discharged through the front of the trailer by reversing the conveyer on the floor of the loading space to move towards the front, operating the conveyer 56, 57 to loosen the material and feed it via the fingers 17, rotating opposite the direction R, to the discharge conveyer 39.
