1,088,252. Sealing device. A. S. FIBO. Jan. 11, 1965, No. 1112/66. Heading H2E. A sealing device for a cable 2 passing through a wall 10 consists of a conically shaped resilient ring 11 which is clamped against the cable 2 and the wall 10 by an adjustable clamp 7, of strip form having part conical portions which fit over the surface of the ring 11 and plane portions at which the two strips are adjustably drawn together by screws, Fig. 2 (not shown). The clamping strips 7 and 8 may extend over more than one sealing ring 11.
