Abstract

Compounds of the formula <FORM:1085876/C2/1> and pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof wherein when R2 and R3 are each Et when m = 3 or are joined together with the adjacent N atom to form a pyrrolidino residue when m = 2 are prepared by reacting an appropriate isobutyric acid with an aminoalkyl compound Y-(CH2)m-NR2R3. Pharmaceutical compositions comprise the esters of the invention and an inert carrier. The compositions which may be in a form suitable for enteral or parenteral administration show antispasmodic vasodilatory, local an,sthetic and anti-tussive properties.
