Abstract

A filing device comprises a post 1 of circular or other cross-section fixed to a circular base 2, the base being attached to a support by insertion in a semicircular pocket 4, formed on the support. A recess 5 in the pocket 4 accommodates the post 1. In a modified construction (Figs. 7 to 9) the pocket (10) is formed by a complete circle of material with a radial slot (8), and the postcarrying base 2 has a radial slit (7). One of the edges of the slit (7) is inserted in the slot (8) and the base 2 is then rotated until all the base is located in the pocket. The post may have spaced grooves or holes to secure a paperretaining spring clip or pin. A number of posts 1 with bases 2 may be attached to a single support. The posts may be solid or hollow.
