Abstract
1,082,592. Transistor amplifying circuits. TEXAS INSTRUMENTS Ltd. June 9, 1964 [June 11, 1963], No. 23238/63. Heading H3T. An amplifier comprises a pair of emitter followers VT1, VT1A feeding a long-tailed pair of transistors VT2, VT2A, the input impedance of VT1, VT1A being increased by coupling their collectors to signal points in phase with the inputs. This arrangement minimizes the current in the base/collector capacitance. The collector signal may be obtained as shown from potential dividers in the collector circuits of VT2, VT2A. Negative feedback is provided via resistors R6, R6A. Field-effect transistors may be used.
