Abstract
1,108,604. Transistor amplifying circuits. TEXAS INSTRUMENTS Ltd. 11 Jan.. 1966 [12 Jan., 1965], No. 1416/65. Heading H3T. In a D.C. amplifier comprising an emittercoupled pair of transistors VT1, 2, an output being taken from the collector load circuit resistor R3 of transistor VT2, common mode signal rejection is provided by means of a unity gain phase inverter comprising transistor VT3. Transistor VT3 is of opposite conductivity type with its collector connected to the collector of transistor VT2 and with an emitter circuit resistor R4. The base is driven from the collector of transistor VT1, the load circuit of which comprises resistor R2 and also a diode D for temperature compensation Resistors R2, 3, 4 may have the same value.
