Abstract

A vinyl resin suspension, e.g. polyvinylchloride, obtained by aqueous suspension technique is transferred under pressure from the reactor into a closed zone inside a tank fitted with a stirrer, said zone being bounded by a mesh of 1-100 mm., the pressure is reduced to below atmospheric to recover monomer and the suspension, free from agglomerates, is removed from the tank outside the closed zone, the tank being stirred continuously.
