Abstract

Combustion-improving additives for coal agglomerates comprise a mixture of camphor, naphthalene, diethyl ether and nitrobenzene in a combustible liquid vehicle, each litre of additive containing 12-22 gms. camphor, 20-30 gms. naphthalene, 2-7 c.c. diethyl ether, and 8-16 cc. of nitrobenzene. The vehicle may be one or more of alcohol, light fuel oil, petroleum essence and kerosene.
