Abstract

1,078,819. Pilot controlled a.g.c. TELE. FUNKEN PATENTVERWERTUNGS. G.m.b.H. Aug. 4, 1964 [Aug. 6, 1963], No. 30906/64. Addition to 992,663. Heading H4R. The heater currents of a pair of thermistors in a pilot controlled a.g.c. system or in a cosine equalizer system, e.g. of Specification 992,663, are varied inversely by connecting the heaters as collector loads R5 and R6 in a common emitter differential transistor amplifier. The control signal from unit EV is applied to transistor Ts1 while the base potential of transistor Ts2 is held at a reference potential by Zener diode D 1 . The bias on transistor Ts2 is arranged, by resistors R 7 , R 2 , and R 1 , to operate the circuit on the linear portion of its characteristic.
