Abstract
1,078,486. Temperature - compensated differential amplifiers. SOCIETE DE CONSTRUCTIONS ELECTROMECANIQUES JEUMONTSCHNEIDER. July 2, 1965 [July 2, 1964], No. 28222/65. Heading H3T. A temperature compensation arrangement for a differential amplifier T 1 T 2 comprises two auxiliary transistors T 3 T 4 each of which passes the emitter-collector current of both amplifier transistors, and a temperature-sensitive bias supply for T 3 and T 4 so that the currents through these transistors vary in opposite sense with change of temperature. By adjustment of the potentiometer taps 5, 6 the emitter currents of T 1 and T 2 can be made to vary with temperature in such a way as to compensate for baseemitter voltage variations. The bias supply for T 3 and T 4 comprises a bridge network 10-13 having normal resistors 10, 13 and temperaturevariable resistors 11, 12 with voltage supplies 15 (e.g. + 24 v.) and 7 (e.g. - 24 v.). The amplifier is powered by a further supply U.
