Abstract

1,078,803. Pressurized dispensing containers. R.H. ABPLANALP. Aug. 4, 1964 [July 30, 1963], No.30457/64. Heading F1R. A pressurized dispensing container cap comprises a cap body having a recessed top wall 2 and a depending flange 15 defining an opening 3 within which is housed a valve. operating tab 4. The tab 4 has a depending flange 17 and is joined to the flange 15 by a hinge 12. The hinge 12 is formed as a complete or partial loop, slots (14, 16), Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown), in both or one of the depending flanges (15, 17) defining parts of the hinge. In a further embodiment, Fig.6 (not shown), the flanges (15, 17) are joined by a pair of strips (18) joining the bottoms of the flanges. The cap integrally injection moulded of plastics material.
