Abstract
1,077,387. Liquid heating furnaces. LUMMUS CO. July 19, 1965 [July 23, 1964], No. 30584/65. Heading F4B. In a liquid heater having tubes 30, 30<SP>1</SP> arranged between heat radiating walls 16, reradiators 44 are arranged between and equidistant from adjacent tubes. The tubes may be arranged in a plane midway between two flat burner heated walls, or may be arranged in a cylindrical band equidistant from the cylindrical burner heated walls of an annular heater. The reradiators are elongated, may be rectangular in cross-section or present concave or convex surfaces to -either the tubes or the burners.
