[Also in Divisions F1 and F2] To stabilize the mean point about which a hydraulic actuator oscillates under the control of a continuously rotating distributor valve (see Division F2) a nozzle 31 is situated with its axis normal to the axis of oscillation of a part 30 having a cam surface. A pneumatic supply through a restriction 35 feeds the nozzle and a spring- loaded servopiston 36 which adjusts a rotary throttle 40 in the supply to one side of the hydraulic oscillator. If a hydraulic instead of pneumatic supply to the nozzle and servopiston is employed a spring-loaded accumulator 42 is added.
