Abstract
1,075,940. Roller trains. DEMAG A.G. Nov. 6, 1964 [Jan. 10, 1964], No. 45420/64. Heading B3M. A receiving roller train. for cooling beds comprises a frame 1 having a bar receiving trough 3, and one or more braking troughs 2 thereon; rollers 4, each of which is driven by a motor 6 and pivotable about a pivot or pivots 8 by a linkage 10, 11, and a comb 18 actuated by an eccentric to move the bars from trough 2 into aligning plate 17. In operation, a rolled bar 19 is directed into trough 3, roller 4, and a plate 14 are raised, and the bar is moved into trough 2. The rollers 4 are .lowered so that the bar is braked by the bottom of trough 2. Meanwhile. plate 14 is lowered so that the next bar is received in trough 3. Comb 18 lifts the first bar out of trough 2 and lays it into the first notch of plate 17.
