Abstract

1,075,521. Carriers for trays. MOLINS ORGANISATION Ltd., D. W. MOLINS and J. G. E. HILLMAN. Jan. 17, 1964 [Jan. 18, 1963], No. 2298/63. Headings B8C and B8D. A carrier for a box (11) comprises a bottom (1), and end pieces (2, 3), rigidly secured to the bottom, of which at least one end piece carries retaining means to hold at least one upper edge of the box or tray in contact with the corresponding upper edge of the end piece. In one configuration the retaining means (4) consists of vertical flanges (5 and 7) joined by a vertical web (6), the flange (5) being secured to the outer surface of the end piece (3), and the side of the box or tray being held between the flange (7) and the end piece (3). The flange (7) is of such a length as to allow the bottom of the box to pass between its lower edge, and the bottom (1) of the carrier.
