A drawer and shell box, for matches or similar small objects, and made of a plastics material has depressions C 1 having arcuate ends in the base of the drawer B which bear against the inner surface of the shell A. These depressions stiffen the drawer as is necessary when using automatic packing lines. The depressions are parallel to the sides of the drawer or oblique thereto. The drawer may be formed by a vacuum process and the shell is cut from a hollow extruded section. In a modification a single wide depression may be provided.
