Abstract

1,075,446. Fuse boxes. F. G. ROCHE. Dec. 2, 1963 [Dec. 18, 1962], No. 47547/63. Headings H2E and H2G. Fuses 5 are held in the lid 1 of a fuse box, between flat-faced contact blocks 6, 11, which when the lid is mounted on to the base 3, are made to contact flat-faced contact blocks 17 in the base, leaf springs 19; secured to the base contacts 17 ensuring that a good contact is obtained between the lid and the base contacts. Each fuse is detachably mounted between the blocks 6 and 11 by means of a spring-biased block 10. The screws 22 securing the leaf springs to the base contacts 17 also act to secure the leads from the circuit to be protected, which are led in through holes 24 in the base. The lid is secured by screws 2 to the base, which may be attached to a vehicle or other machine by screws 4.
