A copy-holder comprises a swing arm 53 mounted for swinging movement in a horizontal plane, about one of its ends, a copyboard 52, and a support fixture 77 having roller means in the form of balls (78, Fig. 4) co-operating with grooves (76) on the swing arm for supporting the board on the arm for axial movement therealong, but in a fixed angular position. The arm is pivoted on a main support assembly (54) mounted on a desk D or on a wall, in the former case being vertically adjustable along rods. The assembly (54) is also provided with a sag adjusting part (69), Figs. 2 and 3, to level the arm 53. The fixture 77 supports an upright (83), Fig. 4, pivotable about a horizontal axis (84), and supporting the board 52 for axial movement therealong. The board carries the copy and is provided with an extensible ledge (107, 108), Figs. 6, 7 and 10, to hold large copy. The free end of the arm 53 may be supported on a telescopable desk support 99, Figs. 1, 8, 15, 16. Clipped to the board by clips (157), Fig. 30, is a vertically adjustable indicator assembly comprising a rod (149) along which is adjustable a word marker (151) lockable in either of two angular positions, Fig. 33. A clamp for securing the assembly (54) to the desk is shown in Fig. 2 and designated (56), and modifications of said clamp, and also of an auxiliary clamp for engaging the bottom of the desk, Fig. 21, are shown in Figs. 23, 25 and 26-29. Attached to the board ledge (107) is a card holder (171), Figs. 37-42, having side edge guides (173, 174) adjustable by a knob (181).
