[Also in Division G1] A method of forming a corrugated tube in which the diameter of the closed end 2 is less than that of the flange 4 and greater than that of the troughs 5 of the corrugations comprises deforming the tube to form troughs and applying an outward deformation to produce the ridges 6, restraint 7 being applied to the troughs and the closed end 2 to prevent deformation thereof. The outward deformation may be effected by hydraulic pressure, the flange 13 (Fig. 4, not shown) at the open end being formed at this time.
