Abstract

A fungicidal composition for treating cellulosic material (in particular wood) comprises, thiourea, an inorganic or organic acid salt of thiourea and/or a N-alkylated thiourea and at least one C6 to C30 alkyl thioether of a polyethylene glycol having 6 to 18 oxyethylene groups per molecule. Optionally a second surface active agent, in particular an alkyl sulphoxide, may be present. The composition may be injected into living trees.
